Number of coronavirus victims in Britain increased to eight
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus in the UK has risen to eight. This was reported on 11 March by representatives of the National Health System (NHS) of England. The first patient, who was more than 70 years old, died in Dudley. He was treated for his already existing diseases, but the coronavirus test showed him a positive result. Another deceased is registered in the county of Warkshire. This, as in the first case, was an elderly patient with several concomitant diseases. The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection by COVID-2019 in the UK reached 456. The authorities are preparing for a sharp deterioration of the epidemiological situation on coronavirus. As explained by UK Chief Sanitary Doctor Chris Whitty, in the worst possible scenario coronavirus can get up to 80% of the population of the country. Earlier, the news agency reported the intention of the UK authorities to allocate 30 billion (about $39 billion) to protect the economy from losses due to the global epidemic of coronavirus COVID-19.
