Ukraine effectively banned export of seasonal workers - Ambassador of Estonia
Ukraine banned charter flights, with which European countries wanted to remove seasonal workers from the country. This was stated by the Ambassador of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk, ERR reports. He said that Finland planned to remove about 14 thousand gastarbeiters, but the government of Ukraine stopped issuing permits for charter flights. There were lengthy negotiations, and in the end Finland managed to convince Ukraine.
