Tanzania managed coronavirus thanks to prayer - President Magufuli

The President of Tanzania, John Magufuli, stated that the country had managed to cope with the spread of coronavirus infection through prayer. This is reported by the Associated Press on May 22. The Head of State is known for his negative attitude towards quarantine measures imposed by most countries of the world. From Magufuli's point of view, the costs of restrictions are much more serious than the infection itself. To date, 509 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Tanzania. A COVID-19 patient died of 21 in the country. WHO representatives argue that the data do not reflect the real picture.
