Volume of grants in Latvian film industry named


The National Film Center of Latvia supported the production of 19 national films, and will allocate 1.7 million euros in 2020 2021. About it writes on May 8 portal Tvnet.lv. According to journalists, 875,089 euros are distributed among five paintings, 371,572 euros are allocated for the production of eight documentaries, 521,666 euros for the production of two feature films and four short animated films. It is noted that the tender commission of the film center accepted applications for financing until March 9 of this year. The presentation of creative applications took place by videoconference. A total of 12 paintings, 11 documentaries and seven animated films participated in the competition for funding.
