WMTOM named two Putin ratings that differ from Bloomberg data

The All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (WMTOM) measures the level of public confidence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and assesses the attitude towards his work as president, the head of the center Valeriy Fyodorov told journalists on May 23. Over the past month, the positive assessment of the President's performance has fluctuated in a narrow range of 61 63%. During the same period, the level of confidence in Putin varied in the range of 67 68%, said the head of WMTOM. Thus, Fyodorov commented on the publication of Bloomberg, which had previously published a chart illustrating Putin's downgrade in April to 27%. At the same time, the authors of the publication referred to the data of WMTOM. Fyodorov added that the last time the electoral rating of the president was published in 2018, because now the assessment of readiness to vote for the candidate of the politician is irrelevant. Now this issue does not exist for people, and the list of candidates is unknown, said Fyodorov. Read also: Expert on WMTOM survey: personal factor is important, people rely on it
