Greek authorities urge citizens to switch to electric cars

The Greek government has appealed to citizens to switch to the use of electric vehicles, for which it offers many incentive measures. The corresponding bill is under popular discussion until July 1. According to him, at the first stage, the government will give citizens subsidies for the purchase of electric transport in the amount of 100 million and it is assumed that these subsidies will cover about a quarter of the cost of 14 thousand units of this type of transport. Coupled with the corresponding tax benefits (which promise to be made low or zero) and an environmental bonus, this should give a benefit of up to 10 thousand euros. At the same time, these benefits will apply to all transport using electric vehicles, motorcycles, buses, scooters, mopeds and bicycles. The goal of this bill is that every third car in Greece will become electric by 2030. Note, as reported by the news agency, earlier it became known that the German company Porsche tested the Taycan Cross Turismo electric station wagon and the Porsche Taycan electric sedan.
