In Seoul donated $1 million to support workers at concert venues


South Korean group BTS and record and entertainment company Big Hit Entertainment donated 1.2 billion won (~ $1 million) to the Crew Nation fund. Crew Nation Foundation, created by an American operator and promoter of events, to help employees of concert venues, financially affected by the transfer of concerts during the coronavirus pandemic. This is one of the largest donations from artists since the foundation was created, representatives of Live Nation said. It is noted that these funds will be used to provide financial assistance to 1000 people. To date, more than 70 people have received support, who were originally supposed to work at concerts of the South Korean group. Recall that the BTS world tour in support of the new Map of the Soul:7 album, which was supposed to start in April of this year, was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
